Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series of caches which are placed at or near village halls and community centres.
For details and statistics about the Village Hall Series please visit Village Hall Series website

Local history information records that Harby Village Hall originally opened it's doors as the Men's Institute, in 1925. This would predate the Women's Institute by 2 years, though the latter is still thriving.

It is unclear if this is the original building or it has been rebuilt, but it it certainly the same site. At the time of placing the cache out, the car park had just been totally dug out and replaced. Our photo was taken a couple of weeks earlier when it was all dug out. There are separate Entry/Exit to the car park.

You are looking for a 'preform tube' covered in camo tape. Please replace the container as found to prevent it being lost when hedge cutting. Some of the early Find Logs expressed some difficulty in finding, but we have reviewed the criteria and there is no reason to change it from 1.5 Star Difficulty Rating, it is right there for the finding.
