Roughly located in the Kouebokkeveld near the Kagga Kamma game
reserve. Rocky outcrops and will involve some light climbing to
reach (nothing too hard)
Once you reach the co-ordinates you'll be standing quite literally
on top of it. Somewhere around you about 60m away you should see a
trig beacon. If you face ENE you will see a dirt road below you
about 30m away. Facing the road you’ll need to climb down the rocks
and you should climb down into a small cave (about 1m deep). Right
at the back behind some rocks you should find the cache. If you
prefer to climb UP, then approach the point the from the dirt road
and you should see the cave….just climb up to it! The cache was a
spur of the moment thing, so I the contents of the cache is a
little slim…as there are not too many shops in that area. The cache
contains: 1x Pacer Pencil 1x Pencil refills 1 x Pen 1 x Notebook
(made shorter by a bread knife!!! Container was too small!!) 2 x
Necklaces (made by the local bushmen residence…if you want more
head to the Kagga Kamma entrance gate!) ….other than that enjoy the
view and unique view and landscape. If you need to get there you’ll
drive all of the way. Head to Ceres. From there you’ll need to go
up the Gydo pass (I think that is right). Then just follow the
Kagga Kamma signs. I suggest you stop along the road when you are
about 1km from the cache (if you want to enjoy a walk), otherwise
you can drive within 50m of the cache.
