The Ents of Ypsilanti THE END Traditional Cache

The Ents of Ypsilanti the end 😢 

I was informed today that our delightful little tree has been chopped down! If something is erected in its place that is similar I will try again but for now; this is THE END  

Any Lord of The Rings fans out there? In the story two wee hobbits are driven into the forest and meet a very nice tree. 
We have such a tree here in Ypsilanti. 

Ypsilanti is one of those cities that has a rich artistic community at it’s roots.  It is also one of those cities where economic depression has kept that a hidden gem. 
This geocache is placed in hopes of showcasing some of that creative spirit. 

This tree has no exact origin story but has been “decorated” (generally seasonally) for quite a few years now. I often meander by and see the changes and updates and love it!
I’ve also thought this would be a great place for a “virtual” where your find is to take a selfie with the object being showcased. But... virtual caching has been discontinued so I’m improvising a bit. (More of that ypsi creative spirit for ya! :))
