Glosario
Pinya: Es la base del castillo que soporta todo el peso de éste.
Enxaneta: El niño que escala hasta la cima. Es el último piso del castillo.
Acotxador: El niño que pone su espalda sobre el que se apoya la 'enxaneta'. El penúltimo piso ("Acotxar-se" significa "agacharse", de ahí el nombre que lleva y por la posición que toma en el castillo.
Dosos: El antepenúltimo piso, formado por dos personas que sostienen al "acotxador".
Carregat: Un castillo se considera "carregat" (cargado) cuando la "enxaneta" hace la "aleta" (Es decir, levanta la mano cuando está encima del "acotxador".
Descarregat: Un castillo se considera "descarregat" (descargado) cuando todos los componentes del castillo bajan de éste sin que caiga nadie, después de que la "enxaneta" haga la "aleta"..
4 de 8: Un castillo de 8 pisos (la "pinya" es el primer, el "acotxador" el séptimo y la "enxaneta" el octavo) con 4 personas por cada uno (exceptuando la "pinya, los "dosos", el "acotxador" y la "enxaneta"..
Segons, tercers, quarts, cinquens...: Casa uno de los niveles del castillo. Cada uno recibe su nombre por la posición que ocupa en el castillo ("Segon" es segundo, "tercer" es tercero...) Si el castillo fuera un 4 de 9, sería lo mismo pero añadiendo otro piso, los "sisens" (sextos).
Folre: Es una "pinya" más pequeña situada encima de la principal, utilizada cuando un castillo resulta ser más alto o la estructura podría resultar ser débil sin apoyo extra.
Manilles: Una "pinya" aún más pequeña colocada justo encima del "folre", para dar extra apoyo.
Agulla: Un pilar erigido dentro del tronco del castillo. Puede considerarse como otro castillo dentro del castillo principal.
Glossary
Pinya: It's the base of the 'castell' which supports all the weight of it.
Enxaneta: The kid who climbs to the top. The last level of the 'castell'.
Acotxador: The kid who supports the 'enxaneta' on his back. The penultimate level.
Dosos: Translated, it would be 'twos'. The antepenultimate level, formed by two people who support the 'acotxador'.
Carregat: A 'castell' is considered as 'carregat' (charged) when the 'enxaneta' does 'la aleta' (waves their hand at the top).
Descarregat: A 'castell' is considered as 'descarregat (discharged) when the 'castell' is 'unbuilt' after being 'carregat', without falling anyone.
4 de 8 (quatre de vuit): A 'castell' of 8 levels (la 'pinya' is the first one, the 'acotxador' the 7th level and the 'enxaneta' the 8th level) of 4 people each one (excepting of the 'pinya', the 'dosos', the 'acotxador' and the 'enxaneta').
Segons, tercers, quarts, cinquens...: Each one of the levels. Each one has the name of its position ('Segon' is 2nd, 'Tercer' is 3rd, and so on). If the castell was a 4 de 9, it would be the same but adding another level, which would be the 'sisens' (6th).
Folre: It's a smaller second 'pinya' just over the first one. It is used especially when a 'castell' is taller or the structure would be weak with only one.
Manilles: It's a smaller third 'pinya' placed on the 'folre', used when you will need extra support.
Agulla: It's a pillar erected inside the trunk. We can consider it as another 'castell' inside the main 'castell'.
