Geocache Description:

Needless to say that the cache is not at the posted co-ordinates and you do not need, nor should you attempt, to visit them.

The E17 postcode covers Walthamstow, Upper Walthamstow and part of Leyton.  When I mention where I live the first thing most people think of is the postcode, made famous by the 1990s boy band East 17.

To find the cache you simply need to answer a few questions about the group which will reveal the co-ordinates.

1. The group's 1992 single Gold reached what number in the Swiss charts? This two digit number is AB.

2. What is the missing letter from the lead singer's name? *rian Harvey. Replace the * with the letter and then assign the number of that letter in the alphabet (A=1 Z=26 etc). This number is C.

3. When the group formed in 1991 how many members did it contain? Take that figure and this is D.

4. The group released the single If You Ever with Gabrielle in 199E.

5. Their debut single House of Love was clearly very popular in Scandinavia. Take away the chart position it reached in Sweden from where it reached in Finland. This will give you the single digit number F.

6. As of February 2019 only one member of the original group remains in East 17, Terry Col*well. Using the same method as above replace the * with the missing letter and use the position in the alphabet for G.

7. A multiple choice question for you. The number in brackets after each choice is H. In the video for their 1994 Christmas number 1 song the group are dressed all in A) White (8) or B) Taffeta ball gowns (5).

8.The group first split up in 1997 but subeqeuently reformed under the name E-17. However after being dropped by their record label they split up for a second time in 199J.

The cache is a micro container with no room for trackables.  You'll need to bring your own pen.

It can be found at N51 AB.CDE W000 F.GHJ
