The Forestry Commission has built (and maintains) more than 1,200km of walking tracks and 130 cycle routes across the National Forest Estate. This requires lot of stone for surfacing and drainage.
A camouflaged cache hidden not far from the path. The paths are easy to follow but can be muddy after rainfall. If you get stuck just think about the name of the cache.
Geocaching is welcomed on the National Forest Estate, subject to the conditions and guidance agreed with the Geocaching Association of Great Britain.
