Please note that this series of caches will be archived on 31 December 2021 and the containers uplifted. Please complete any site visits before that date.
The cartridge is based upon Cluedo but instead of 6 suspects, 6 weapons and 9 rooms, there are 6 cache types, 6 weapons and 9 locations.
A crime was committed at a cache at a large annual UK event with over 500 cachers attending. You need to identify what type of cache the crime was committed at, what type of weapon was used and at which location the crime took place.
You start by going to the Police HQ at Gaydon Yard. Then go to a location to make a guess about the type of cache the crime occurred at. You then exit that location to guess the weapon used. You then return to Gaydon Yard to see if your deductions were correct.
If you get a response you can rule out that cache type, weapon or location. You keep going until you make the correct guess when you will be given the location of the cache.
NB. When playing a Play Anywhere Wherigo Cartridge please make sure you have a large playing area such as a public park or field. When you start the cartridge it will load the zones based on where you are on iPhone. On Android you will need to check you inventory for an item that will start the game for you.
Your first act should be to check the map in the app to ensure all the zones appear on the map in locations that are accessible to you. If not then quit the cartridge, then move a bit, so that when you restart the app the zones are moved, then re-check on the map. Once you are happy all the zones can be physically reached you can begin your game.
If you fail to check the zone map before you begin playing you risk the zones being in an inaccessible area such as over a fence.
