Welcome to the Lough Money Geoart Series.
Lough Money This series of caches will bring you to the banks of a fishing lake near Downpatrick. Parking for a few cars is available at the Parking Waypoint but this is only available from 08.00am until 22.00pm.
Ornithologists are encouraged to bring their binoculars, while photographers should bring their cameras to capture the array of seasonal colours.
No cache has been hidden adjacent to the fishing stations out of respect for the angling community.
Lough Money.
This is a Challenge cache so, as well as signing the log, you must fulfil the criteria listed below. The cache is at the posted coordinates. There you will find a small container and, although this is not a Letterbox Hybrid, we have provided a stamp to use if you don't have one of our own. Please bring your own pen.
At the time of hiding this cache there were 83 Letterbox Hybrid caches in Ireland.
To log the cache you must fulfil the following criteria.
1. Have found 30 Letterbox Hybrid caches.
2. Have found at least one Letterbox cache in three different countries.
3. You may sign the log as a "write note" if you don't yet meet the criteria.
4. The following challenge checker may be used to check eligibility.
