Aberdeenshire2019: Unfortunately Storm Arwen on 26 November 2021 made safe access to a lot of these caches impossible and this will remain the position for a long time to come. Previously it was announced that the caches were to be archived on 31 December 2021. The caches placed for the Aberdeenshire 2019 Mega recorded an amazing 21,659 found logs on 83 hidden geocaches, by 721 geocachers. Thanks for taking part.

Please note that this series of caches will be archived on 31 December 2021 and the containers uplifted. Please complete any site visits before that date.

A classic game of pairs

In this cartridge you move about the map to turn over cards. Match two cards and they vanish from play. Match all the cards to reveal the cache.

NB. When playing a Play Anywhere Wherigo Cartridge please make sure you have a large playing area such as a public park or field. When you start the cartridge you will need to check your inventory to find a button staying Start the Game. This will create the zones

Your should then check the map in the app to ensure all the zones appear on the map in locations that are accessible to you. If not then quit the cartridge, then move a bit, so that when you restart the app the zones are moved, then re-check on the map. Once you are happy all the zones can be physically reached you can begin your game.

If you fail to check the zone map before you begin playing you risk the zones being in an inaccessible area such as over a fence.

Please note that if the coordinates flash up and disappear you will find there is a zone called the cache. Enter this zone to see the coordinate message again.
