Some facts about IVY

1,   Ivy can climb up to 30m on structures like trees walls etc.

2.  Ivy can spread across the ground 20m

3.  It is said people take it into their homes to ward off evil spirits

4.  In Ancient Rome is was believed a wreath of ivy could prevent a person getting drunk

5.  Clinging ivy is meant to mean a symbol of love and friendship

I am sure there are many more facts but this is enough to think about.  We either love it or hate it.   As geocachers I think we are more prone to debate this love hate relationship.
