This cache is in the Dodd City Cemetery.  The cemetery was established in 1842 and was donated by the Major.  Enjoy!

Dodd - Bonham, Tex., Sept. 7
Major E. H. Dodd died in the city early this morning and was buried this afternoon at Dodd City, his home.
Major Dodd was one of the oldest pioneers of North Texas, coming to Texas in 1857 and settling where Dodd City now stands.
Edmund Hall Dodd and Elizabeth Garnett were married in Barren Co., KY on September 15, 1836 by Jacob Locke. Elizabeth's father, James T. Garnett, gave his consent for the marriage. (visit link)
