This CITO will involve a special cooperative effort between the Kansas City Geocaching Community and Horizon Academy of Roeland Park. Join me in introducing our awesome hobby to young minds open to new adventures. At the same time, participate in the effort to give back to the community by beautifying Rosedale Park.

9:45 am - 11:15 am
Rosedale Park - 4100 Mission Road - Kansas City, KS 66103
• This is a rain or shine event; come prepared to work outdoors picking up trash in Rosedale Park.
• We'll start gathering at 9:45am at the shelter just to the West of the main parking lot. This will give us some time to fellowship and prepare for the event before we get to work.
• If this is one of your first events and you have some apprehension, feel free to email me and I will be happy to introduce you around.
• Bring your water bottle, work gloves, bug spray and sunscreen (be prepared).
• Afterwards, stick around for a group photo!
• Post your "Will Attend" log and tell me how many from your caching team will be in attendance.
• I am anticipating approximately 25 students from Horizon Academy, most of which are new to geocaching. Each CITO group will include about 12 students, a few teachers and some awesome cachers!
• We have a great opportunity to share our hobby with them and join them for some easy, but meaningful community service. If you are available, I hope you will consider attending!
• If you are attending, have an extra GPSr or two and are willing to lead one of the small CITO groups, please let me know so that we can work out the details and coordinate our efforts.
• Watch for more information as the event date approaches.
