GeoTour Stop #10: Norfolk Public Library
From its humble beginnings as a small book collection donated to the local fire department, the Norfolk Public Library has grown into a 16,000 square foot facility and is home to a collection of more than 76,225 items available for patron use. Also included in this recent remodel was the addition of three community conference rooms, numerous study rooms for patron use, an outdoor area with tables, chairs and landscaping, a fireplace, and a separately designated children’s section with interactive furnishings and games.
You will need to figure out several clues to lead you to the cache somewhere within the Library. The posted coordinates will bring you to a pole in front of the Library. There is a Norfolk GeoTour tag with a three-digit number located here. You may want to remember this number as it could come in handy during your journey. Now it's time to release that inner-child. Head inside the library to the play area and look up high in the "trees". Your first clue lies there . . .
