Geocache Description:

This is a Streaks vs. Slumps Challenge in Howard County, MD.  To qualify for the challenge, you must have a streak of finds longer than your longest slump.  Please copy the results from the Project-GC Challenge Checker to your log.  OK, if I have to, I'll check your profile.

The cache IS at the listed coordinates. It's a clear rectangular plastic locking container about 4"x6"x1.5".

Some rules:

  • Find this cache and sign the log anytime.
  • Only log this as a Found It if you meet the challenge requirements. Otherwise, OK to Write Note and change later when you've extended your streak.
  • The "Your Statistics" section of "Your Profile" is the place to verify the length of your longest streak and longest slump.
  • No matter how long your longest slump is, if you have a 365-day or longer streak, you qualify for this challenge, and you can ignore the output of the challenge checker.
  • Expect me to delete Found It logs if you haven't met the requirements.

Please do not park on Rt. 108 / Clarksville Pike. Centennial Park has a nice set of paved trails (map) around the lake that will take you to within about 250 feet of the cache.

At the time I placed this cache, my longest streak was 103 days, and my longest slump was 42 days. Not likely I'll ever have either a longer streak or slump!
