About the film:
In ADAPTATION (2002) , Nicholas Cage plays a cynical and insecure screenwriter named Charlie Kaufman (which is also the name of the actual screenwriter of this film) who has just taken on the new assignment of adapting a non-fiction novel into a film. The book he is adapting is called "The Orchid Thief" and it is based on the life of an eccentric exotic plant collector based out of Florida. While Charlie struggles with being faithful to the screenplay’s source, his easygoing twin brother Donald (also played by Nicholas Cage), is writing outlandish action scripts with ease. Where this film takes you defies description. It is ultimately a strange and off-beat look into the creative process. Great performances by Chris Cooper (who won an academy award for best supporting actor) as the plant collector and Meryl Streep as the novelist. Cage manages to create two distinctly different characters.
About the cache:
You are looking for a small cache that is big enough for some small swag and in a container “adapted” to fit its surroundings.
