Hatherleigh Methodist Church is situated in Bridge Street, opposite the entrance to the town car park and the market. It is very much a part of Hatherleigh's strong community life.
The present building, with its beautiful stained glassed window, designed by two Church members and made by monks at Buckfast Abbey, was opened in 1983. It was built on the same site as the previous building that had been a prominent place of worship for over 100 years.
The cache is placed at the memorial site for the Church in a beautiful location on the edge of Hatherleigh. The cache is not within the burial ground but resting just outside!
