The GlamCacher has decided to make this gathering a "Creation Celebration" event so come along and share your caching stories and the best logs on the caches you own and if you have any bespoke containers ready to place bring them along too.
Creation Celebration is part of Cache Carnival which celebrates geocaching creativity and diversity.
Carnivals across the world are an example of fun, passion, and creativity. Participants go to great lengths to make decorations, costumes, and plan parades.
Much like a carnival, geocaching would simply not exist without the people who channel their creativity and innovative spirit into making great experiences for others. So at this event we will be -
Story sharing (e.g., What were some of your most epic adventures or favourite caches?)
Bring along your creative caches! The GlamCacher will be bringing some of her creative caches!
There will be a prize for the container that gets the most favourite votes!!
A souvenir is available for all cachers who find all the caches set in the Nature Reserve!
The car park is free and there is no charge for entry to the visitor centre. There is a small charge for entry to the Nature Reserve and the caches placed there. Bicycles are not allowed inside the reserve. Although dogs are allowed in the cafe and the visitor centre they are not allowed in the reserve.
The event is from 10:00-12:00
There is a cafe, in the visitor centre, that serves food and refreshments, as well as toilet facilities. There are picnic areas within the reserve plus several bird hides for those twitchers that cache.
