It never fails, every time I do some research, find a good spot, and head out to place a cache, there is always a four wheeled vehicle with one muggle inside, just killing time right in the area where I want to place the cache. Me, being the stubborn person that I am, usually decides to wait them out. They can't stay there forever, right!? If you know me, you know that I basically have zero patience when it comes to muggles......but I must press on. I really don't want to come back here again, and I really want to get this cache out. I pull out my phone, play a quick round of a game, and check in my review mirror.....ugh the muggle is still there. It's only been seven minutes.....I can do this! She is probably on her lunch break, and the next bell from the clock will strike in nine minutes. So I play a little more on my phone, got through about five rounds of the game, and I check my mirror again........STILL THERE!!!! A couple four letter words stumble out of my mouth, as I knew I was in for the long haul here!
Knowing that I have gotten zero things accomplished today so far, and I still had about eight things to do on my list, I decided to come up with a plan B to hide the cache. I took a look at the geocaching map, and saw there were about five caches placed in this little area, so my room for error was fairly small. Luckily, I had zero of the caches left to find, so I knew generally where they were placed. I drove around to the other side of the building, got some coords to what looked like a good hidey spot, typed in the coords, and it came back red as I was inside the zone of another geocache! Ugh....I really do have zero room for error here. It HAS to be where I was before. So I drove back around, and I started thinking about my Geocaching Partner in Crime, Critter_Sitter, and what she would do in a situation like this....would she just hide it and say to heck with the muggle, or would she continue in this waiting game? The only thing that came to mind though was how she would also be saying some of the same four letter words that I was saying. Sitting in the cache mobile, I continued to wait, checking on the muggle's status in three minute intervals. An hour had passed, and she still hasn't moved, so I did some more research, and found a new spot less than one mile away that would work!! YAYYYYYY!!!!! But can you find it???
