This BONUS cache is to celebrate the aviation history of Long Beach / Lakewood here at Douglas Park, the location of the former Douglas Aircraft Company factory. I hope you enjoyed the ✈︎✈︎✈︎ Douglas ✈︎✈︎✈︎ geocache series in this area which attempted to spotlight some of the history. As a special treat, an Adventure Lab (Lab Cache) has been published.
The adventure cache has five waypoints which are all wheel chair accessible. At each waypoint you are prompted to answer a question, and upon completion of each waypoint an instruction is provided in the JOURNAL of that adventure. When you have completed all five waypoints you have five journals with instructions. These instructions provide clues on where to locate this BONUS Letterbox cache. This cache does contain a stamp and this stamp is not a trade item.
The BONUS cache is available 24/7, but some of the locations of the Adventure Lab are not accessible 24/7. Please note that parking in some areas may restricted. This area is very walkable and walking distances are not significant. Attempting this bonus cache on weekdays, especially during lunch hours when all muggles are out and about may be not be quick or possible. We do not intend for people to trespass. The cache is reachable from public walkway.
