About the film:
In DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER (1971), Sean Connery returns from a one film vacation to play his greatest character-Bond,James Bond. In this film, an elaborate diamond smuggling investigation takes Bond to Las Vegas where he uncovers an even bigger evil plot involving a rich business tycoon played by Jimmy Dean. And, of course, along the way he romances some pretty colorfully named females like “Tiffany Case” and “Plenty O’Toole”. This film took on a decidedly cartoonish tone even more so then the preceding entries and while there were some truly wild car chases through the streets of Vegas, a typical world domination driven villain, and some cliff-hanging moments, this entry was not as good as the others. The “camp” tone however was set for Roger Moore to take over the reigns as the new James Bond for the next seven films.
About the cache:
You are looking for a cache of diamonds. About the size of a softball.
