At the time this cache was released the track around the lagoon was not quite completed. Stay close to the water and you will be fine. You are walking on public land all the way around, however in places this is used by the vineyards. There is no fence. Again, generally stay by the water. You will come across some gates across the path - you are welcome to go through them but be a good kiwi and always leave gates how you find them.
This cache is an original style multi. Old hands will know what to do, those newer at the game may not have seen this type of multi before, which is why the difficulty is up a bit. Just remember what a multi requires - collect the coordinates, go to the next stage (and repeat as needed. Not many repeats for this cache).
