Urban trees are a precious resource, and growing body of scientific evidence has demonstrated the health – and wealth – benefits of trees in cities. The University of Exeter is home to about 5000 trees of 328 different species.
Here at the posted coordinates are 5 wonderful poplar trees, and one used to have a large wooden label (placed by Treeconomics) about 2 metres up that detailed some of the benefits of these 5 trees. Treeconomics is a social enterprise dedicated to to working to understand how trees improve our urban spaces, making them better places to live.
