Kfar vradim is located near Maalot Tarshiha, on road 854, north of Tefen village. In 1979 the industrialist Stef Wertheimer received from the Israel Administration 7000 dunams, with permission to plan, develop, and establish a community settlement according to his vision. Kfar Vradim is intended to be a quality residential place that will operate developed education and cultural systems and attract a strong population from the center of the country. The settlement was founded in 1984. All the names of the settlement's streets are the names of flowers, trees, rivers, and mountains. Not public figures. The original proposed name was "Ir Vradim" (City of Roses), but this was changed to "Kfar Vradim" (Rose Village).
