Avian Park Raceway is a harness racing track located in Wangaratta Victoria. It hosts 2 race meetings each year, though it is used fortnightly for trials and regularly for training purposes.
The raceway was once also a greyhound racing track opened in January 2002. By 2005 Greyhound Racing Vic had withdrawn support and by June 2009 all greyhound racing events ceased. It was said that 6.3 million dollars was needed to be spent on the track to bring it to a condition that GRV would consider using it again for greyhound racing events.
The grounds are also used for a community market every Sunday morning.
The cache is a micro (not a Nano). Once again, it can be accessed from the public car park, do not enter any fenced off areas.
