L’architettura della chiesa è a forma di nave ormeggiata nelle sabbie del litorale, pronta a salpare spinta dalle vele dell’albero maestro, la croce, e guidata dalla figura di Maria, posta nella sommità del campanile, la prua della nave. Da lì la Madonna dirige la nave verso il giardino dell’Eden, con lo scettro da “Capitana da mar” come vuole la tradizione di Venezia. Lo sguardo di Maria è però rivolto verso Gesù Crocifisso, albero maestro della nave, trasportato dalle ali degli angeli, che fa muovere la nave carica di pellegrini verso la salvezza eterna. La costruzione della chiesa è fondata su 8 pilastri e quattro testate d’angolo che simboleggiano i dodici apostoli ed il passaggio tra la chiesa e il giardino dell’Eden viene accompagnato dagli arcangeli simboleggiati dalle tre campane poste sul campanile, mentre l’albero d’ulivo ed un faro di luce verticale orientato verso l’alto posti al centro del giardino simboleggiano la Pasqua della resurrezione e lo Spirito Santo. L’edificio è una struttura complessa composta da diversi materiali. La struttura portante è costituita da calcestruzzo, con delle travi reticolari metalliche che definiscono le linee curve della navata centrale e del campanile, mentre la struttura della copertura, con la sua forma ondulata a ricordare le onde del mare, è stata realizzata in legno.

The architecture of the church is shaped like a ship moored in the sands of the coast, ready to set sail from the mast's sails, the cross, and guided by the figure of Mary, placed at the top of the bell tower, the bow of the ship. From there the Madonna directs the ship to the Garden of Eden, with the scepter from "Capitana da mar" as the tradition of Venice wants. However, Mary's gaze is turned towards Jesus Crucified, the ship's master tree, carried by the wings of the angels, which moves the ship full of pilgrims to eternal salvation. The construction of the church is based on 8 pillars and four corner heads that symbolize the twelve apostles and the passage between the church and the garden of Eden is accompanied by the archangels symbolized by the three bells placed on the bell tower, while the tree olive tree and a lighthouse directed upwards at the center of the garden symbolize the Easter of the resurrection and the Holy Spirit. The building is a complex structure made up of different materials. The supporting structure is made of concrete, with metal lattice beams that define the curved lines of the central nave and the bell tower, while the structure of the roof, with its wavy shape to remember the waves of the sea, was made of wood.

Die Architektur der Kirche ist wie ein Schiff geformt, das im Sand der Küste festgemacht ist und bereit ist, die Segel des Mastes, das Kreuz, zu setzen, und wird von der Figur Marias geführt, die sich oben auf dem Glockenturm befindet das Schiff. Von dort führt die Madonna das Schiff in den Garten Eden, mit dem Zepter von "Capitana da Mar", wie es die Tradition Venedigs will. Marias Blick ist jedoch auf Jesus Crucified gerichtet, den Meisterbaum des Schiffes, getragen von den Flügeln der Engel, der das Schiff voller Pilger zur ewigen Erlösung bringt. Der Bau der Kirche basiert auf 8 Säulen und vier Eckköpfen, die die zwölf Apostel symbolisieren. Der Übergang zwischen der Kirche und dem Garten Eden wird von den Erzengeln begleitet, die durch die drei Glocken auf dem Glockenturm und den Baumoliven symbolisiert werden Ein Baum und ein Leuchtturm, der in der Mitte des Gartens nach oben gerichtet ist, symbolisieren das Osterfest der Auferstehung und des Heiligen Geistes. Das Gebäude ist eine komplexe Struktur aus verschiedenen Materialien. Die Tragkonstruktion besteht aus Beton mit Metallgitterträgern, die die gekrümmten Linien des Mittelschiffes und des Glockenturms definieren, während die Struktur des Daches mit seiner gewellten Form, die an die Wellen des Meeres erinnert, aus Holz besteht.
