I worked for a Cambridge local newspaper for a while and during my meal-breaks, I would often go out for some fresh air. A walk around Milton Country Park was my usual choice and this is one of a few caches planned to encourage other geocachers to visit this nice park just north of Cambridge.
Milton Country Park was created on the site of old gravel pits which have since been flooded, surrounded by wooded areas. Entry is free although there is a charge for car parking. There is a cafe and dogs are welcome (as are geocachers!).
This cache is a microtube and was hidden with the knowledge and permission of the Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust who manage the park.
