This location has long been a forgotten area. Once a river playground where fairs and paddle boat races were held, it has been little more than an out-of-site location behind the Bradfordville Industrial Estate over the last 30-40 years.
With a new group of barefoot waterski enthusiaists now seeking to hold national and international competitions along this expanse of the Wollondilly River, maybe the area will see some resurgence of its former glory as one of Goulburn's favourite river locations.
The cache is an ammo can-style container, received as a raffle win in the lead up to a Mega Event cache being held in Queanbeyan during Easter of 2019, the Clear Waters event. Hence, a river-side cache seemed appropriate for this hide.
