Welcome to the Blue Heron Nature Preserve!
Please park along the road near the trailhead waypoint provided. Do NOT park on the bridge or try to access the cache from any other way except from the specified trail, so as to not damage any plants or landscaping.
As you approach the cache from the Rickenbacker Trailhead Entrance, you will see a wooden bench to your left, and a large engraved rock to your right. Next to the large rock is a smaller trail that leads towards the creek; this is where you need to go in order to begin your search. You might get your feet wet, so dress accordingly, and do not attempt this cache during heavy rains or at night.
