Get a Clue: The Accusation (Series Final) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Team Noltex: Sadly, everything must eventually come to an end and so it is with the Get A Clue: Series. After a couple years, it has grown increasingly difficult to keep active 21 individually owned caches and the final cache has recently been beset by technical difficulties.

The origins of this series was an effort to engage and include a large number of the local caching community in a fun, interactive and slightly challenging cache series that was a collaboration of creative efforts that everyone could enjoy creating and finding. We were thrilled at the response and happy that so many could enjoy it.

Thank you to all who helped and participated in creating this series, we couldn’t have done it without you.

Geocache Description:

This cache is the final for the Get a Clue series of caches. It can only be found if you have the information you need from finding the other caches in the series.

A Cache Pirate is stealing caches around Tacoma and we need your super sleuth abilities to figure out who it is and stop them! This cache series is based on the classic Clue board game. You will need to find cards in each of 21 caches to solve the mystery, then visit the final cache location to make the accusation to see if you are correct.

In this game there are eight possible Suspects, eight possible TOTTs (Tools Of The Trade)  they may be using, and eight iconic Locations around Tacoma where the suspect may be. At each of the caches in this series you will find one card with either a Suspect, TOTT or Location. Keep track of the cards you find on the Detective's Notepad to eliminate them as possibilities. The three cards that remain after you find all 21 cards (one Suspect, one TOTT and one Location) are the solution you will need. Don't bother guessing, though. There are too many combinations and it will be too time consuming.

Once you have deduced the solution, go to the posted coords inside the Seymour Conservatory in Wright Park during business hours. Behind the door to the right of the gift shop entrance you will find the Accusa-tron 3000LX. There you can enter your accusation. If your detective skills are keen enough, you will help alert the authorities and see that the Cache Pirate is brought to justice! If you are incorrect, you will have to wait before you can make another accusation. With each incorrect accusation, the wait will get longer.

The code for the lock is 1095. Follow the instructions, enter your solution and sign the log. Please remember to reset everything before you leave.

The Conservatory hours are Tuesday thru Sunday, 10 am - 4:30 pm, CLOSED ON MONDAYS. Entry is free.
