Il borgo è molto suggestivo.
Attraverso l’antica porta d’ingresso e una ripida strada arriverai alla chiesa di S. Giovanni Battista, al di sotto della quale c’è un gioiello di decorazione: l’Oratorio del SS. Rosario, dipinto nel 16° secolo da un anonimo pittore fiorentino.
Il ciclo decorativo percorre i Misteri del Rosario, ovvero i momenti della vita di Cristo e della Madonna.
La decorazione è pacata e didascalica, come una vera e propria Bibbia dei poveri.

This hamlet is very evocative.
Through an ancient entrance gate and a steep road you will reach S. Giovanni Battista Church. Below the church there is the Oratory of SS. Rosario, entirely decorated with the Stories of the Virgin and Christ.
This precious fresco was painted in the 16th century by an unknown Florentine master. The decoration is calm and didactic, like a Bible for the poors.
