When is it?
April 14th 2:30pm to 4:00pm
Where is it?
The Guide Hut on Beaconsfield Road, kindly provided at the cost of some weeding which is entirely voluntary but is in lieu of paying actual cash money for the use of the venue. Many thanks to dowsabella for organising the venue for us. Parking is onstreet in the surrounding roads.
What is it?
The 136th of the ever popular series of mid-monthly-ish, mid-week-ish regular events at various locations around the three counties of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire to talk caching, plan expeditions and decide who's organising the next one.
You'll note that this is not mid-week, not even 'ish' but this is mid month and this is the last day of the Carnival Caching project Geocaching are running and to earn your final souvenir you need to attend a "Celebration Creation" event before the end of the 14th April.
What's our Celebration Creation theme?
BBH is well known for it's love of cakes (other baked goods are available and indeed welcome) and to celebrate and to create we are having a baking competition! Not just any baking competition, the theme is caching. How you interpret that is up to you and I know you won't dissapoint.
Judging will commence at 3:15 and prizes will be awarded at 3:30 (although clearly it's just a bit of fun :-))
Complimentary teas and coffees will be provided.
