Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Florida Finders Fest 2019 Spidey Geo-Art, brought to you by the Forest Minions! This letterbox Hybrid cache is not at the posted coordinates. You must solve this rather challenging trivia question, to determine the location of the final. As this is a Letterbox Hybrid, we ask that you leave the stamp, in the cache. It is not a trade item. Happy hunting!

The spider species Sphodros atlanticus, commonly known as Atlantic Purse-web Spider, belongs to the genus Sphodros, in the family Atypidae. It was described by Willis J. Gertsch and Norman I. Platnick in 1980 and is endemic to North Carolina. The spiders color is black.

These Guys Can Live For Five Centuries!

The Greenland variety of these critters are known to be some of the oldest living animals in our world. Researchers did carbon dating on one that was caught four years ago and found it to be around 392 years old. Further testing revealed that our fishy friends could be up to 512 years old. Yes, that would mean that our geriatric friends would have been alive when Leonardo Da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa. Still, they aren’t as friendly as they look as they are apex predators, or top predators, within their ecosystem.
