Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Florida Finders Fest 2019 Spidey Geo-Art, brought to you by the Forest Minions! This letterbox Hybrid cache is not at the posted coordinates. You must solve this rather challenging trivia question, to determine the location of the final. As this is a Letterbox Hybrid, we ask that you leave the stamp, in the cache. It is not a trade item. Happy hunting!

The spider species Tegenaria domestica, commonly known as Barn Funnel Weaver, belongs to the genus Tegenaria, in the family Agelenidae. Sometimes mistaken for the hobo spider or the giant house spider because of the similar coloration and patterning, but one visual difference to look for is that Tegenaria domestica has striped/banded legs, whereas the other two species have solid-colored legs. A very long-lived species, especially in captivity.

This Unique Device’s Patent Was Lost In A Fire

This patent, is credited to Frederick Graff Sr. who was the chief engineer for Philadelphia Water Works during the early 1800s. Unfortunately for Graff Sr., it was destroyed when the patent office in Washington, D.C., burned down in 1836. After 100 years, retired firefighter George Sigelakis reinvented the device after they had been failing to work in too many critical emergencies.
