La esencia del Mediterráneo
Situado en el litoral del mar Mediterráneo junto a la desembocadura del río Palancia, el municipio valenciano de Canet d'en Berenguer, de más de 6000 habitantes, puede presumir de una de las mejores playas del litoral levantino, con su fina y dorada arena, su cadena dunar y la óptima limpieza de sus aguas.
No en vano, y aunque tradicionalmente la economía del municipio estaba centrada en la agricultura, actualmente es el turismo su principal actividad económica.
El topónimo Canet proviene del latín cannetum, «cañar»; se refiere a la marjal, zona pantanosa que se extendía de Puzol a Almenara y en la que existía abundancia de cañaverales. La denominación de Berenguer proviene de Francisco Berenguer, señor territorial del siglo XV que convirtió el lugar en señorío.
La playa de Canet
1.250 metros de costa por 80 metros de anchura componen la playa de Canet. Se trata de una de las playas más espectaculares de la Comunitat Valenciana ya que cuenta con todos los alicientes que una playa necesita. Por un lado, su arena es fina y suave y por otro, a través de sus aguas cristalinas se puede ver el fondo del mar con claridad. También tiene una atractiva cadena dunar donde muchos turistas aprovechan para tomar una espectacular instantánea. Asimismo, toda la playa está bordeada por un gran paseo marítimo que puedes recorrer un caminando de un extremo a otro.
Por otro lado, a lo largo de sus 1.400 metros de longitud, el Paseo Marítimo está acompañado de las hermosas dunas de la playa que dan como resultado un diseño espectacular. Además, durante el paseo el visitante puede disfrutar de numerosas comodidades y servicios como la oficina de información turística, restaurantes, instalaciones deportivas, juegos infantiles, hoteles, apartamentos, aparcamientos y un encantador mercadillo que abre semanalmente en los meses de verano. Tampoco podemos olvidar el Puerto Deportivo con las diferentes actividades deportivas que ofrece: Kayak, vela ligera, windsurf, y más.
Durante todo el año, esta playa es cuidada con atención. Se hacen muestreos del agua, se airea la arena con maquinaria especializada, entre otros servicios. Por ello, consciente de esta realidad, la playa de Canet d'en Berenguer tiene año tras año el galardón de "Bandera Azul", así como la implantación de las certificaciones de las normas UNE–EN ISO 9001 Calidad, UNE-EN ISO 14001 Medio Ambiente, la UNE 170001 Accesibilidad, Q de Calidad Turística. De esta forma, la playa de Canet se sitúa entre las 40 mejores de España.

The essence of the Mediterranean
Located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea near the mouth of the Palancia River, the Valencian municipality of Canet d'en Berenguer, with more than 6000 inhabitants, can boast one of the best beaches of the Levantine coast, with its fine golden sand, its dune chain and the optimal cleaning of its waters.
Not in vain, and although traditionally the economy of the municipality was centered on agriculture, tourism is currently its main economic activity.
The toponym Canet comes from the Latin cannetum, "cane"; refers to the marsh, a marshy area that extended from Puzol to Almenara and in which there was an abundance of cane fields. The denomination of Berenguer comes from Francisco Berenguer, territorial gentleman of XVth century that turned the place into lordship.
The beach of Canet
1,250 meters of coastline by 80 meters of width make up the beach of Canet. It is one of the most spectacular beaches in the Valencian Community since it has all the attractions that a beach needs. On the one hand, its sand is fine and soft and on the other, through its crystal clear waters you can see the bottom of the sea clearly. Nor can we forget the Marina with the different sports activities it offers: kayaking, dinghy sailing, windsurfing, and more.
Throughout the year, this beach is taken care of with attention. The water is sampled, the sand is aerated with specialized machinery, among other services. Therefore, aware of this reality, the beach of Canet d'en Berenguer has year after year the "Blue Flag" award, as well as the implementation of the certifications of the UNE-EN ISO 9001 Quality, UNE-EN ISO 14001 Environment, UNE 170001 Accessibility, Q for Tourism Quality. In this way, the beach of Canet is among the 40 best in Spain.

June: Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Months July and August: Monday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Rest of the year: Mornings: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00. Afternoons: closed

Die Essenz des Mittelmeers
Die valencianische Gemeinde Canet d'en Berenguer, mit mehr als 6000 Einwohnern, liegt an der Küste des Mittelmeers nahe der Mündung des Palancia-Flusses und verfügt über einen der schönsten Strände der Levantinischen Küste mit ihrem feinen goldenen Sand. seine Dünenkette und die optimale Reinigung des Wassers.
Nicht umsonst, und obwohl sich die Wirtschaft der Gemeinde traditionell auf die Landwirtschaft konzentrierte, ist der Tourismus derzeit die wichtigste Wirtschaftstätigkeit.
Der Ortsname Canet kommt vom lateinischen cannetum, "Zuckerrohr"; bezieht sich auf den Sumpf, ein sumpfiges Gebiet, das sich von Puzol bis Almenara erstreckte und in dem es eine Fülle von Zuckerrohrfeldern gab. Die Bezeichnung von Berenguer stammt von Francisco Berenguer, einem territorialen Gentleman des 15. Jahrhunderts, der den Ort in Herrschaft verwandelte.
Der Strand von Canet
Der Strand von Canet besteht aus 1.250 Metern Länge und 80 Metern Breite. Es ist einer der spektakulärsten Strände der Valencianischen Gemeinschaft, da es alle Attraktionen bietet, die ein Strand braucht. Zum einen ist der Sand fein und weich, zum anderen kann man durch sein kristallklares Wasser den Meeresgrund deutlich sehen. Es hat auch eine attraktive Dünenkette, in der viele Touristen einen spektakulären Schnappschuss machen. Der gesamte Strand ist von einer großen Promenade begrenzt, die Sie von einem Ende zum anderen laufen können.
Auf der 1.400 Meter langen Seite wird die Promenade von den wunderschönen Dünen des Strandes begleitet, die zu einem spektakulären Design führen. Darüber hinaus kann der Besucher während der Tour zahlreiche Annehmlichkeiten und Dienstleistungen genießen, wie z. B. die Touristeninformation, Restaurants, Sportanlagen, Spielplätze, Hotels, Apartments, Parkplätze und einen charmanten Markt, der in den Sommermonaten wöchentlich geöffnet wird. Wir können auch den Yachthafen mit seinen verschiedenen Sportaktivitäten nicht vergessen: Kajakfahren, Jollen, Windsurfen und vieles mehr.
Dieser Strand wird das ganze Jahr über mit Sorgfalt gepflegt. Das Wasser wird genommen, der Sand wird unter anderem mit speziellen Maschinen belüftet. In Kenntnis dieser Realität hat der Strand von Canet d'en Berenguer Jahr für Jahr die "Blaue Flagge" verliehen sowie die Zertifizierung der UNE-EN ISO 9001-Qualität, der UNE-EN ISO 14001-Umwelt. UNE 170001 Barrierefreiheit, Q für touristische Qualität. Auf diese Weise gehört der Strand von Canet zu den 40 besten in Spanien.
