Better Call Saul is the prequel series to Breaking Bad. Like that series, it is filmed in and around Albuquerque. It tells the story how Jimmy McGill comes to be known as "Saul Goodman", the lawyer who put "criminal" in "criminal defense lawyer".
Daniel Wormald a.k.a "Pryce" hires Mike for security when he goes to sell stolen pharmaceuticals to Nacho Varga near an abandoned power plant.
Things go south once Daniel buys a flashy yellow Hummer (NM tags "PLAYUH") with his new wealth. Mike refuses to go along this time and Nacho is able to get Pryce's name and home address by looking at his registration. Later cash and a valuable baseball card collection are stolen from Daniel's home. The Police suspect more when they discover a hidey-hole behind the couch and see Daniel's Hummer.
Jimmy gets Daniel out of police suspicion with a lurid story, while Mike helps him get his baseball cards back (plus $10,000) in exchange for the Hummer, which goes to a chop shop.
For quickest access, take Exit 248 to the dead-end frontage road here. Across I-25 to the Northwest is the real-life Algodones Generating Station, on San Felipe pueblo land. The plant has some abandoned cooling stacks where the exchange scenes were filmed. Please be safe and pull completely off the road; there's plenty of room.
