Hi! Have you been here before?
This is a Rebirth, the old hide just didn't work well.

This is a great drive in the woods. Cane Ridge has short leaf pine and a great mix of hardwoods. It's part of the Mark Twain National Forest and is managed timber lands. That means you will find timbers sales, prescribed burns, hunters, hikers, horses and locals all in the woods. You may see deer, turkey, fox, or the occasional bobcat.
So watch the road and your Geo map. You never know what you're going to encounter!
There's a GEO-ART growing out here too. Some of the older caches are going away to make way for the new art. Stay tuned.
I have been asked to add this to all my caches on the Mark Twain National Forest...."Please be aware that collection of historic and prehistoric artifacts or the destruction or defacement of archaeological sites on federal lands is prohibited by the Archaeological Resources Protection Act of 1979, (16 U.S.C. 470aa-470mm) and the Antiquities act of 1906 (16USC 431-433). First time offenders can be fined up to $20,000 and imprisoned for up to one year. Second time offenders can be fined up to $100,000 and imprisoned for up to 5 years." Forest Archeologist
