The Triangle
a Geometry for Cachers Cache
DO NOT go to the posted coordinates for any of the listed points. They are only for reference in figuring out the puzzle.

Coordinates and locations and other things used in caching are all about geometry in the real world. This series of caches tests your geometry skills. If you "pass" the test… then you will find the caches.

Your fourth test is to find a point on an equilateral triange. The posted coordinates for the cache are the center of an equilateral triangle. The other two sets of coordinates are two of the points of the triangle. Figure out where the third point of the triangle is and you will find the cache there.

The known points of the equilateral triangle are:

  • Point 1: N 38° 29.665 W 090° 59.349
  • Poitn 2: N 38° 31.679 W 091° 01.924
  • Center Point: N 38° 31.254 W 090° 59.893

DO NOT go to any of the known points at any hour. The cache location at the third point of the triangle is available 24/7 though. Good luck!
