The cache is not located at the posted coordinates! This is the second of what might be a longer series. The difficulty has been bumped up a bit. There are still a number of different ways you might be able to solve this. If you have any difficulty with it, please contact me after the FTF is logged.
I haven't concentrated too much on benchmarks recently but since I've always enjoyed caches that were benchmark-related, I thought I'd try a simple puzzle or two that are based on benchmarks.
All you have to do is identify this benchmark, enter the six character benchmark code (XXXXXX) into the certitudes checker and if you're correct, the checker will respond with the coordinates for the cache. Since GC.com no longer maintains a Benchmark Database it is now quite a bit more difficult to find this code. For a quick way to get it, see the hint.
When you find the cache there will be a nice view of this benchmark to the southeast over the trees if you choose to log it. You can get an even better view if you wander a bit. But remember, this particular benchmark is located on private property so you should only view it from a distance. Also, cache is a nano so bring tweezers.
Congratulations to fatboysuede on FTF!
