Get a Clue: Blueberry Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

witzend: This was a really fun series, and I want to give a huge shout out to Team Noltex for all their efforts with this series and so many other great geocaches in the area. Speaking of area, I no longer live in this area, and it's become increasingly difficult to make trips back to T-town for cache maintenance. I have made the decision to archive this hide and open up the park for someone else's amazing hide. You know you've been meaning to hide a cache. Here's a fun little park. Go for it!

Geocache Description:

This is a simple cache in Blueberry Park. Charlotte's Blueberry Park on Tacoma's eastside was Berg's Blueberry Farm from 1952 until 1968. In 1997 Metro Parks Tacoma officially took over the land and preserved the park. Now more than 3,372 bushes, representing five varieties of blueberry, produce fruit. Picking season typically runs from July through September each year.

Grab this cache, and while you're here go for a nice stroll among the trees. It's really a beautiful place.

NOTE:

This cache was originally part of the magnificent "Get a Clue:" series by Team Noltex. That series had a good run, but nothing lasts forever, and as of February 2022 the final puzzle, and therefore the series, are no more. The original game description and artwork are below for historical purposes. Perhaps it will inspire you to create and place a series of your own?

A Cache Pirate is stealing caches around Tacoma and we need your super sleuth abilities to figure out who it is and stop the perpetrator! This cache series is based on the classic Clue board game. You will need to find cards in each of 21 caches to solve the mystery, then visit the final cache location to make the accusation to see if you are correct.

In this game there are eight possible Suspects, eight possible TOTTs (Tools Of The Trade) they may be using, and eight iconic Locations around Tacoma where the suspect may be. At each of the caches in this series you will find one card with either a Suspect, TOTT or Location. Keep track of the cards you find on the Detective's Notepad to eliminate them as possibilities. You can click on the Notepad to print out a copy. The three cards that remain after you find all 21 cards (one Suspect, one TOTT and one Location) are the solution you will need. Don't bother guessing, though. There are too many combinations and it will be too time consuming.

Once you have deduced the solution, go to the final series cache, Get a Clue: The Accusation (Final) - GC84M1C  (Now Archived) to alert the authorities and see that the Cache Pirate is brought to justice!
