Welcome to the Turtley Awesome Pet Geocaching Series! We created this series of 6 geocaches in honor of our 6th anniversary together and to celebrate our fur babies. These geocaches are placed in parks around the Richmond area that have a special connection to us and our fur babies. Each cache in this series has been stocked with turtle and pet related swag and at least one Travel Bug that is ready to go explore the world. Also, there is $1.00 in quarters for the First To Find! Two of the quarters will be from the National Park Series corresponding to the year that we're commemorating in the cache. The other two quarters will be from the U.S. State Quarters series and represents 2 of the states that we traveled to in that particular year.
Polly is the sixth cache in this series. We chose to hide this cache here and commemorate it with the 2018 quarters because our most recent fur baby joined us in April 2018 when she was just 6 months old. Polly the Pomeranian was raised near this park, but her owner had to move to assisted living so we adopted her.
You are looking for a medium lock and lock that is a bit off the trail. This trail can be heavily traveled on nice days so stealth may be required.
