Charlie enjoys this area of the city but he tends to get tired of staying in the same spot for very long. This is one of several locations that a 'Charlie hide' has been located on this parcel of land. Circumstances over time have necessitated changes in location. Charlie started his residence in the area as 'C.B.'s Tree, a short little tree with little green left on it, scruffy would be a good description. It was decided that this tree would be decorated in Christmas garb and those in the neighbourhood saw it as being 'cute'. Okay, that is how this hide eventually came to be located at its present location.
As you may have figured out this hide is only one in which there has been more than a few hides related to 'Charlie Brown' of 'Peanuts'. Typically there has only been one active 'Charlie' cache at any one time in this series. This may change since Charlie has moved once again. Only time will tell. I was hesitant to place another Charlie hide in the series but it seems a number of geocachers in the area seem to enjoy finding Charlie, regardless of the season.
