I really love walking through Kepa's Bush . So central ....yet when you are in there you hear no cars ! Maybe a few trains though !
It feels like you are far away from the city . Very peaceful and lush ..... Lots of beautiful birdsong too .
I entered from the end of Colenso Place, off Kepa Rd , this time .
My sister's place borders onto this bush ....and for years I have been meaning to place some caches there . This is for you JJ .
The council have really vamped it up recently ....lots of new boardwalks and steps and meatalled tracks .
Plus I believe the Friends of Kepa Bush are very active too .
Lots of very interesting Historical signage has been placed too; which you can read if you have time for a good wander !
You needn't leave the track for this one . If you notice an amazing Tree Arch in the bush on your Right ,,,, this cache will be on the Left side of the track .
Just unscrew lid of tube . Please make sure you rehide the cache under the logs !
