The Line Between the Circles
a Geometry for Cachers Cache
DO NOT go to the posted coordinates for any of the listed points. They are only for reference in figuring out the puzzle.

Coordinates and locations and other things used in caching are all about geometry in the real world. This series of caches tests your geometry skills. If you "pass" the test… then you will find the caches.

Your sixth test is to calculate the westernmost point on circle 1… and the easternmost point on circle 2. The cache is located exactly halfway between those two points.

Find the point furthest west on Circle 1:

  • Center Point: N 38° 32.585 W 090° 52.653
  • A Point on the Circle: N 38° 32.736 W 090° 52.542

Find the point furthest east on Circle 2:

  • Center Point: N 38° 31.969 W 090° 53.732
  • A Point on the Circle: N 38° 31.919 W 090° 53.695

The cache is located exactly halfway between the Circle 1 west point and the Circle 2 east point. Good luck!
