This little bit of fun is placed at Hanoi’s famous Temple of Literature (Văn Miếu Quốc Tử Giám). The city of Hanoi is said to have been established in the year 1010 and this site was originally a university built in 1070. The aristocrats and royalty were educated here, and eventually commoners were allowed too.
Graduates’ names were engraved on the tablets above the stone turtles. Now the cache finders’ names can be added to the log of this cache!
This site daily welcomes many muggles so be careful. You’ll need to bring your own pen. When putting the log back in it helps to put it in the cap first.
