I always wonder about the crosses placed along roadways, so I decided to place a cache near each local cross so that others will know a little bit about the person who lost their life, and will remember that life is precious and can end so quickly.
This cache is in remembrance of Alyssa. Alyssa was 6 years old, a kindergartner at Hemingford Elementary School. She passed away as a result of a car accident at this corner January 14, 2019. There is a small pink cross near the cache site.
The cache has only enough room for a log so bring your own pencil. There is parking near the cache site.
