Geocache Description:


Nellie Weaver was the rock of our family since her husband died. She taught me a lot like cooking, baking, sewing, and crocheting. We even watched dancing with the stars together, and I helped her on Facebook and candy crush. Her obit is as follows Manuela "Nellie" Rivera Weaver, age 93, of San Antonio, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2018 at home with family. Daughter of Miguel and Genoveva Rivera was born October 3, 1924 in Elmendorf, Texas. Nellie was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church's Guadalupana and Altar Societies and St. Mary's Alpha Phi Sorority. She enjoyed family time, gardening, crocheting, quilting, sewing, and reading. Receiving her G.E.D. at 71 years, education was vital. If you go up the road to Finding your roots, you’ll find her and her husband buried there watching over that cache.
