a Geometry for Cachers Cache
DO NOT go to the posted coordinates for the listed point. They are only for reference in figuring out the puzzle.

Coordinates and locations and other things used in caching are all about geometry in the real world. This series of caches tests your geometry skills. If you "pass" the test… then you will find the caches.

Your ninth test is to figure out where Point B (the cache location) is based on the triangle pictured below.

The facts that you know are:

  • Point A is located at N 38° 31.721 W 090° 53.359
  • The inside angle of the triangle at Point A is 30°.
  • The inside angle of the triangle at Point C is 90°.
  • The line between Point A and Point C is a straight east-west line.
  • If you square the length of side b (the line between Point A and Point C) in feet… then you get 100,020,001.
