This ODYSSEY is a
SEARCH . AND . RESCUE
Mission

We may have a fallen comrade!

Luckily, our friend left detailed notes of the planned patrol route.

Your elite expertise is needed to locate one of our nation's greatest treasures.

This mission will require you to negotiate an urban environment, interpret hidden meanings, and utilize the unique communication abilities that you have developed as an elite operator of the geocache community.

Only your highly-honed skills and rare determination will result in a successful mission. I trust you will display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the objective and complete the mission
though you be the lone survivor.

1. First, secure your transportation in the motor pool. Prepare to exit the ACP but you got to ruck up. The signs say no CMV, EFV, FAV, LTVR or ball playing.

2. Grab your gear. Proceed to the Rally Point located by the natural wooden structure (it's a tree) marked on your map.

3. From the RP face due east. You will immediately see a dangerous crossing. Make sure OpFor doesn't spot you and you can cross safely.

4. Pass an open field and next you will encounter rough terrain riddled with boulders. A stone wall is also at your 3 o'clock. It's a choke point. There is only way through here.
Stay alert. Stay alive.

5. Soon the wall will turn south near another long field. This may be the most dangerous area you encounter. It has been known to be full of land mines. The locals even erected a green & white sign warning everyone who passes of the high price these landmines can cost.

6. Once you see the green & white sign on the field, a half-moon shaped grove of bushes nearby can provide a safe haven from those dirty dogs laying the mines. Better to go there now and not be here when they return.

We believe our friend is somewhere beyond the forest to the North.

7. From the half-moon grove our comrade took a bearing of 356 degrees traversing another danger zone!

8. You should pass another strange half-moon shaped grove on your right and several other odd-shaped fields and groves to your left. Be sure to utilize the tree cover as you negotiate the terrain through here.

9. Ahead you see dark figures. Two stoic gentlemen appear to be moving towards you. Why are they here? If you take the time, they will communicate their mission to you. It reflects our mission here; how to help another individual.

10. Study your surroundings. Other figures will come into view. When two families are in your vision, you are on the correct path.

11. The torch of liberty continues to provide a guiding light on this mission.

12. When you have sacred ground on both sides of you, you'll know you are on the correct heading.

13. Next, you will discover a different kind of field up on a geometric plane where poppies blow in the wind.

14. You are almost at the end of the patrol route so our comrade must be in the area. Soon you notice 4 gentlemen nearby. Perhaps one of them knows the whereabouts of our missing patriot.

Are any of them are locals? Maybe one of them is familiar with this area.

15. Wait. There is someone else at this place. A fifth person, here, with them. His face is not visible like the others but he is here. You can sense him in the dark grey fog; being stealthy and blending into the background. Somewhere... hiding in plane sight.

THIS IS VITAL TO THE SUCCESS OF THE MISSION

16. When you locate this shadowy individual, you NEED to check his code name
against our A.L.I.A.S. list.
(Area Local Informant And Sources list).

17. The secret file folder below links to our cleverly disguised online database of secret agent identities.

If his name is in our database, you will receive actionable intel from him necessary to rescue one of our nation's greatest treasures.

Hopefully you will discover our comrade still standing proud, on guard, and ever vigilant!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO TOUCH OR
USE ANY FORCE WHEN YOU FIND OUR COMRADE
RESPECT THE PERSONAL SPACE OF OUR FRIEND IN UNIFORM
WE DON'T WANT TO LOSE ANYONE TO FRIENDLY FIRE!

You must utilize the intel gained from the database file folder.

To find our comrade, enter the agent's code name into the database A.L.I.A.S.

Thank you for volunteering on this epic S.A.R. mission.
Your participation has been noted and will not be forgotten.
