Charlie doesn't live here anymore. Charlie recently moved to the 'Eastside'.
This gave the opportunity to place a new hide in this location which previously was home for 'Charlie Seeks Shelter'. The hide is located along the fence line and could bring geocachers to a prickly location. This hide is located just off of Topping Lane on property which will eventually be developed for housing purposes, likely apartments as the open space, formerly the grounds of Brick Street Public School, will be developed at some point in time. The property has been the site of several geocaches over the past eight years or so, all of them being based on 'Charlie'.. Previously there has never been more than one Charlie hide in existence in this area over the past eight years, but now there are two Charlie hides relatively close to each other. I hope my fellow geocachers will enjoy the opportunities to visit the home area of Charlie.
Apparently a number of geocachers in the area enjoy finding the Charlie hides, as noticed during a recent survey on the London Area Geocachers Facebook page.
Come, enjoy, but also remember Charlie has moved to the Eastside, just a short walk to the northeast.
