From Bankut via the green cross, over the look-out tower.
So, the destination is Bankut, located about 30-km far from Miskolc. The
route is Miskolc, Lillafured, Omassa, Bankut. (Or you can choose the way
from Dedestapolcsany). From there, a green cross will lead you to the cache
(about 1,5 km). You can go on foot our by mountain bike. The forest is
beautiful, and if you have a nice weather you can even see the hills of
Tatra from the look-out tower. In the winter this place is a
skiing-paradise, in these days you must use snow-chain on the roads. You can
also take public transportation to get there, in this case you have to
choose bus number 15 from Miskolc to Omassa, and from there you have to take
a 7-km long walk up to the hills. There are many small roads to get toBankut.
The cache is a brown box with a diameter of 20 cm and height of 10 cm, plus
a CD box, as this one unfortunately didn't fit in the box. Nearby the
cache - in the look-out tower - my GPS showed an elevation of 980 meters,
which height almost reaches the highest elevation point of the country.
